how do you do this? I have an old ca-100 too.. is it possible to turn it into a rack unit so it accepts midi as well? I’m just diving into this DIY stuff!!!
Check out these midi decoders for triggering switches on and off states triggered by midi. They have other options available so you can find what is right for you. I will do an advanced post on the CA100 and show my mods.
If you look in the picture in the post of the IC chip I have 2 different mods connected to it. there is two wires on the top and one wire on the bottom. wires 1 and 2 on the top both connect to wire three on the bottom. so you can easily replicate my glitch mod using this as a reference.
let me know if you have any questions or if anyone else has some cool mods for this keyboard.

My list would not be complete because this is a work in progress. I suggest that you open her up yourself and start poking around. In my reply to Lucian I mentioned my method for connecting my two glitch switches on the main IC.

Hola, yo también tengo un viejito CA-100 y quería saber si me pueden decir de cuanto es el filtro c-12 de la placa… es que se me perdió y no sé de cuanto es… sería de mucha ayuda ya que hace mucho que no toco y no tengo dinero para arrglar otro, gracias!
